OUR HEARTBEAT
We strive to serve others as Christ served, according to Mark 10:45, so that He is known, lives are changed, and God is glorified. Our purpose is to minister to churches and Christian organizations by providing accommodations and activities for weekend retreats and summer camp. We are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment so that our guests may be able to relax and focus on their walk with Christ.

OUR TYPE OF OPERATION
For the most part, Camp Tejas is a rental camp. We provide the facilities and the meals while the majority of our guests provide their own speakers, music, counselors, and program. This varies depending upon the season and the requests of the group.

During the retreat season, most of our guests are here on the weekends with different age groups from a variety of Churches. We provide the facilities, the meals, and some recreation activities such as the challenge course, climbing wall, hayrides, and campfires. Each group provides their own speaker, music, counselors, and program.

During summer camp, we continue to provide the facilities and meals, but we become more involved in the recreation, ministry, and other programs of our guests. Each summer camp group has the option of using our summer ministry team for a variety of activities and programs.
